Job Title: Senior Network Test & Automation Engineer – State-of-the-Art Systems Location: Belgium, Antwerp We are partnering with a global technology organisation developing state-of-the-art embedded systems . We’re looking for a hands-on Test & Automation Engineer who can validate complex systems, improve test processes, and ensure high-quality software delivery. Design, build, and configure lab and virtual test environments Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts (Python mandatory) Perform manual and automated testing Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, test frameworks, and tooling development Troubleshoot issues, reproduce defects, and collaborate with development teams to identify root causes Dive into code (C/C++ or Python) when necessary to validate and solve problems Document test cases, results, and improvements to continuously refine testing practices Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or equivalent practical experience Strong Python skills (essential) Knowledge of test frameworks and automation tools (Robot Framework, Jenkins, CI/CD) Exposure to C/C++ software development is advantageous Comfortable discussing architecture, test frameworks, and system behaviour at the whiteboard You’ll be encouraged to challenge ideas, take ownership of medium-to-high complexity features, and shape the way testing and system validation is done across the organisation.
